The Tech2Go Collection is a mix of technology and maker-focused equipment. Some items can be checked out by everyone with a New Lenox Library card; some require adult cards (16+); others also require the Digital Media Lab Orientation.
Located downstairs at the Patron Services desk. Checkout cards are on the counter near the Hold shelves outside The Studio.
- New Lenox Library card required.
- Most items have a 7-day checkout. CD players have a 14-day checkout.
- No renewals unless noted.
- Digital Media Lab Orientation is required for the Tech2Go DML Collection. No orientation is required for Tech2Go Basic.
Items must be returned to the New Lenox Library building. Items must not be returned to the book drop. Items are not sent to other libraries.
Tech2Go items still accrue fines. Fees will be charged if an item is returned damaged. Replacement fees are listed on the checkout sleeve.
Tech2Go Basic Collection
No Digital Media Lab orientation needed. Only one hotspot checkout per household within a 30-day period. The collection remains available when the library is limited to Curbside Services.
