Explore different countries and states without ever leaving the comfort of your own home! The CultureGrams online database contains a world of information about states, countries, and Canadian provinces in formats suitable for both children and adults. Are you doing a paper for school? Use one of CultureGrams' images of flags, daily life, or points of interest for your next poster or report. If you want to use information for reports, CultureGrams will even generate citations for you. Have you ever wanted to hear the national anthem of Australia? Or see what houses look like in Norway? Now you can! Just use your New Lenox Public Library card to log onto CultureGrams today and begin exploring all it has to offer: photos, maps, recipes, graphs/statistics, videos, lists of important people, educational/teaching resources for parents and teachers, recordings of national anthems, and more. CultureGrams can be found in the Homework Help and A-Z Resource List tabs under Research & Learning.
