The New Lenox Public Library District had its 1st Annual Mini-Golf Fundraiser inside the library on Sunday, October 27 from 11am-5pm. Over 300 people came to golf at the movie themed course. The library raised over $4,200, which will go towards building a Digital Media Lab in the Adult Services Department.

Golfers were asked to vote for their favorite hole. Each hole was decorated based on a different movie like Despicable Me, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice and Wonderland and Wizard of Oz. The winning hole was decorated by the Friends of the New Lenox Public Library and was based on The Wizard of Oz. The winner received $100 which was generously donated back to the Library.
