Part-Time Administrative Assistant

The New Lenox Public Library District is seeking a friendly, organized individual to work as an Administrative Assistant. The candidate should be comfortable with computers, including Microsoft Office, have filing, typing and data entry skills, and be able to communicate effectively in person, on the phone or in writing. Duties include: event scheduling, assembling board packets and writing board minutes, handling data entry, filing and typing for the Library Director, and serving as a notary public. Must have a high school diploma. Experience working in a library is a plus. Salary starts at $14.38. 15-18 hours per week.

The New Lenox Library is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented person for a page position in the circulation department. A high school diploma or current enrollment in high school is required. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Average work week is 12 hours which may include some evenings and some weekends.
